Scott Balch is a retired firefighter by profession and farmer by choice. Scott farmed wine grapes for (15) years while casually farming cannabis under Prop 215. During that time, Scott surrounded himself with experts and developed a practical farming protocol that translated well and elevated our farming practices. Our efficiencies and preparedness are two defining characteristics of our farms and result from Scott’s attention to detail.

Jennifer Smith spent her career in the alcohol beverage industry building consumer relationships with brands like Jack Daniel’s and Budweiser. She came to the cannabis industry with the intent of building a company and brand with her life-long friend, Scott. Jennifer’s focus is on compliance and regulation development through political outreach. Her goal is to build a brand that connects with and educates new and existing consumers. With her degree in Agricultural Business, Jennifer excitedly returned to her roots. Naughty Squirrel Farms is the dba for the cultivation companies founded by our two owner-operators.
